Earlier this year, the ICE Mortgage Technology team gathered with thousands of customers and partners in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the annual ICE Experience conference. The event provided attendees with an exciting opportunity to explore, engage with and discuss the latest product updates showcased in the Exhibition Hall and during various sessions. A key highlight was the User Experience (UX) Booth, which spotlighted how our newest innovations are enhancing day-to-day work for our customers’ employees, as well as improve the experience for borrowers.

From the start, the UX team focused on gauging attendee perspectives on loan automation, borrower priorities, enhancing loan management and improving the servicing customer experience. They also invited customers to weigh in on the features within the MSP Digital Experience (DX) and the Loan Origination experience through an interactive giant ping-pong ball voting station.

Throughout the conference, attendees had the opportunity to review and share feedback on a number of products including:
The ICE team analyzed participants’ feedback and comments to evaluate the effectiveness of their efforts in defining and delivering new features, using these insights to guide future planning. Having these conversations opened up the opportunity to see what could be missing and what might need to be improved. When asked about customer reactions and engagement at the booth, Erik Skinner, Head of the Customer Experience Office, Servicing at ICE Mortgage Technology said, “It’s always great to engage with our clients, and learn more about the problems they are trying to solve”.
“Customers were equally vocal on the latest origination offerings,” said Misha Vaughan, Vice President UX Design for Origination at ICE Mortgage Technology, “They didn’t hold back on what they loved, what they wanted more of and what we needed to do better on. But that’s why we come, to hear it all.”
