New AVM Common Confidence Score explained

Understanding MISMO’s new accuracy metric and ICE’s next-gen tools to support valuation quality

The property valuation industry has historically faced challenges with inconsistent processes for measuring and comparing values generated by automated valuation models (AVMs). In 2025, regulatory changes were introduced to address these challenges, and the new AVM quality control standards took effect in October.

Another change was the release of MISMO’s AVM Common Confidence Score Standard and Guidance. This aims to bring a consistent, user-friendly measure to mitigate valuation inconsistencies and support compliance with Dodd-Frank’s quality control requirements.

Learn more about MISMO’s Common Confidence Score and discover how ICE is driving these changes forward with robust AVMs and a new self-service AVM performance monitoring platform.

During this on-demand webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • What MISMO’s Common Confidence Score means for your valuation processes
  • How ICE is implementing and supporting the new metric
  • Key differences between ICE’s Confidence Score and MISMO’s Common Confidence Score
  • How you can leverage ICE's next-gen performance analysis tools to help support compliance and gain actionable insights for better decision making
